DREAM

It was the day of 24th August 1975 - A birthday of dreamer’s elder son Shri Bhaskarbhai. Being holy-day, the dreamer of this trust was working as a Principal of Government Basic Training College of Palanpur. He was in a leisure mood. He is looking still on the window. He fixed his eyes on the electrical wire of the road. Slow rain-fall in fine drops were raining. Drops on wire were playing a game of hide and seek.

All of sudden Dr. Patel heard some noise and he became conscious. He saw that college students were throwing pieces of loaf in the gutter. Some naked children from around were gathered and they were in competition to get that thrown piece of loaf that was drawn with dirty water of a gutter.

Looking to that Dr. Patel recollected his past and decided that – I shall do something for such an orphan children. Again he slipped in past and he saw that I got good position in society because of the education. And his mind decided to establish a trust, named as

"Swami Sunyanand Seva Trust"

This trust shall work for needy and helpless children.

This is a registered trust registered under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. Registration No is E/282/Banaskantha dated 22-Nov-1981. This trust began its work from June 1985.

The Great Mother - Inspiration

What is Importance of Education ?

Swami Sunyanand Seva Trust is founded by my parents. My parents were in teaching profession when I was in school. My parents are against the system of private tuition. They never accepted any private tuition throughout their teaching carrier. When I was in XIth Std (Old system of 11 +01 + 03) Board, I was poor in English (L.L.) subject, I told my parents to arrange tuition in English subject for me. I still remember their reply "Concentrate in class room teaching when your English teacher teaches, do extra labour on this subject". Any way tuition was not arranged for me. Thanks God, I passed my Board Exam with English (L.L.) subject with, 52 marks out of 100.

When I was studying in my Pre – Arts in Banaskantha Arts and science college English was compulsory subject. One day Prof. Mistry of English was giving us notes. I was writing it in my note book. Prof. Mistry was on round, be stopped near my seat, he pointed out my mistake, instead of Board, I wrote "Bord". He took my note book to the class – room stage and showed to all the students. This was a turning point of Life. I decided to improve my English Language.

After completing my Pre-Arts, I got admission in the Regional College of Education, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh (Run by N.C.E.R.T., New Delhi). I joined the four years course of B.A. (Eng) B.Ed (Eng) in an integrated programme. I passed the course and became a trained graduate in June 1971.

I joined the Govt. High School at the age of 20 yrs, as an English teacher.

The above two example changed, my life and I have learned many things such as –

  1. Be alternative in the class room while teacher is teaching.
  2. Nothing is impossible, if you work hard.
  3. Education and educated person can mould his life as per desire.
  4. You can serve many people, if you are in a teaching profession.
  5. Education is monitor (like our brain) which brings control on our behavior, in our spoken Language and our character too.

In my opinion, Education is the only weapon, which can help to bring peace on earth.
